The 2022 Wales Legal Awards Ceremony will be a stunning black-tie dinner event, hosted at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel on Friday 20 May 2022.

Tickets are now sold out.

Timings: Our sparkling drinks reception starts at 6:30pm. Carriages are at 1am. We advise that guests arrive no later than 7pm.

Dress code: Black tie

Our host: We are delighted to announce that journalist and presenter, Sian Lloyd (profile below), will be our host for the evening.

 

Our Charity of the Year 2022

We are delighted to announce that our charity of the year is Head for Change – a start up charitable foundation, pioneering positive change for brain health in sport and supporting ex-players who are affected by neurodegenerative disease as a result of their professional sporting career in football or rugby.

Please join us in supporting Head for Change at the Wales Legal Awards Ceremony on Friday 20 May 2022, to help raise funds for this fantastic and unique charitable foundation for existing and former sports professionals.

Sian Lloyd

Broadcaster & Presenter

Sian has become a familiar face to viewers across the UK following appearances presenting BBC Breakfast, Crimewatch Roadshow, Panorama and her work as a correspondent on BBC national news. Before becoming a journalist Sian trained as a lawyer, working in London and Hong Kong. She began her media career in Wales presenting BBC Wales Today, Good Evening Wales and a number of documentaries for BBC Wales. Sian grew up in Wrexham and speaks Welsh. Her most recent project has seen her co present a landmark series of programmes on S4C exploring the experiences of evacuees to Wales during the 1940’s.
